Faculty members can borrow 20 copies of books for 1 semester and employees 6 copies of books for 1 month, doctoral students 12 copies of books for 1 month, master's students 8 copies of books for 21 days and undergraduate students 6 copies of books for 15 days and there is a possibility of renewing the book until the book is reserved. Allameh Tabatabaei University users must return or renew the book they borrow on time so as not to pay the fine for late return of the book. Non-Allameh Tabatabaei University users use the selected resources in the reading room on a daily basis and books are not loaned to them.

Book renewal: Persian, English and Arabic books can be renewed in person at the library or even by phone.

Settlement: Respected professors and employees, if they do not have a book on loan, will be settled by coming to the library in the loan section upon retirement. Also, users whose thesis or doctoral dissertation defense has been finalized and do not have a book on loan will be settled in the digital library and the Golestan system by coming to the central library.
